Florida Hard Rock Summer Open

I played a satellite for a seat and won. Was trying to figure out why and considered the fact that I really wanted it. Not that I don't always, but I basically just refused to lose. The Open sounds like a great game, especially for Florida: hour levels and 20,000 chips with an $1,100 buy-in.

The satellite I played was small, just 20 players which meant only 2 seats. Actually, the other player who got the seat is someone I've been in the same situation in before. He and I both won seats into another game, although one time I won a seat thanks to his playing KK on the bubble and losing to an ace when I was almost out. We both learned something there.

Excited about the game coming up this Friday. Anxious to see how many players. The floor told me they expect around 180, but I think there's a $150,000 minimum guaranteed prize pool.

Great job Jann! I love the refuse to lose mentality. Good luck on Friday.
